Mothercare is a global retailer for parents and young children. Since opening its first shop in 1961, there are now over 1,500 stores offering both Mothercare and Early Learning Centre products. Mothercare provides a huge range of practical, safe and specialist baby products including baby carriers and slings.
Carriers and Slings
Mothercare has over 170 carriers and slings to choose from so you're sure to find something comfortable for you and your child. Mothercare has included the major brands within their range including BabyBjorn, Ergobaby, Rockin Baby, Little Life, Hippy Chic, By Kay and Mothercare's own brand.
Wrap slings such as ByKay are a great way to carry your newborn baby whilst keeping your arms free. Slings help hold your baby close to your chest whilst keeping them warm. Their head can also be supported within the wrap and the weight spread evenly over the back and shoulders. One shoulder wraps such as theBabSling are great for children from birth to approximately two years old. There are five positions so that you can adjust the sling as your child grows.
Front baby carrier such as the BabyBjorn One is a structured carrier with adjustable shoulder straps and a very comfortable back support. This popular carrier design allows you to carry children from birth to approximately three years old and has four front and back positions. The Ergobaby is similar to the BabyBjorn carriers in that there are four carrying positions.
Back baby carriers such as the Little Life carriers are great for carrying you little one whilst out for the day. They are mainly suitable for children aged six months to 20kg but the limits vary. It is important however that your child is able to sit up by themselves unaided. Some carriers contain atrached storage bags which can be very handy and also footrests to make your child's ride much more comfortable.
